Electronic ignition for Montesa Cota 123, 172 and 200 models, with variable advance, 12 V lighting and a 1.5 kg rotor.
Manufactured specifically for France Trial Classic to an exclusive design, this ignition is made for Montesa trials motorcycles. It is supplied with a lighting coil, a 12 V regulator, a nut and fitting instructions.
The benefit of variable advance
Unlike a fixed-advance magneto ignition, this system automatically adjusts ignition timing to engine speed. This helps provide smoother, more progressive response across the operating range, making the power easier to modulate and the motorcycle easier to control through technical sections.
